چکیده مقاله:



قرمزدانه یکی از مهمترین رنگزاهای طبیعی است که منشا حیوانی دارد و از حشره¬ای به همین نام تولید می¬شود. این رنگزا قدمتی طولانی دارد و علاوه بر استفاده از آن در صنعت رنگرزی الیاف طبیعی مورد استفاده در فرش دستباف ایرانی، در صنایع دارویی، غذایی، آرایشی و بهداشتی نیز مصارف گوناگونی دارد و باعث اهمیت قرمزدانه به عنوان یک رنگزای طبیعی FDC Food, Drug, Cosmetic گردیده است. همچنین از آن به عنوان معرف برای شناسایی فلزات استفاده می¬شود و این رنگزا از طریق کمپلکس با فلزات مختلف خاصیت فلورسانس و لومینسانس از خود نشان می¬دهد. در این مقاله خصوصیات فیزیکی و شیمیایی قرمزدانه بررسی می¬شود و همچنین به کاربردهای آن در صنایع مختلف اشاره می¬گردد.


Article's English abstract:

Cochineal is one of the most important natural dyes of animal origin obtained from the insect of the same name. Cochineal has a long history with numerous applications in different industries. Besides its use in dyeing of natural fibers used in the Iranian hand-knotted Carpet, it is widely used in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, etc., and thus, it is considered as a FDC Food, Drug, Cosmetic natural colorant. It is also used as a reagent for identification of different metals through the formation of dye-metal complexes showing fluorescent and luminescent properties. In this paper, physical and chemical properties of cochineal as a natural dye as well as its extensive application in different industries have been reviewed.
