Abstract
In recent years the use of surfaces with icephobici
ty potential to improve the performance of various
industries and energy saving has been developed.Superhydrophobic
surfaces because of reduced contact area between s
urface and droplet ,which lead to decrease of ice adhesion, an
d also existence trapped air under droplet as a the
rmal Insulation can
delay the process of water freezing, Consequently,
these surfaces can be considered as icephobic surfa
cses. Although these surfaces are not always icephobic and perform
ance of these surfaces due to mechanical damage dur
ing
icing/deicing cycles or in humid atmosphere reduced
