This project was defined and proposed, with the view to luster glaze would reveal exclusive aesthetic reflection to tiles. So far, there has not been serious attempt to study luster paints for tiles. Thus, the research began with study of literature review about luster paint on ceramic and the historical bases. The main goals were to achieve interfacial defusion and luster reflection resulted from the metal salts reduction, for which, in corresponding industies, little consideration was devoted to it. Due to the lack of provision of a furnace with reducing atmosphere, two routs were tried; first to include reducing agents in the luster formula, either in the base glass part or in luster layer paint, second to mix chemicals such as: sulfur or carbon coke powder with luster compounds, in order to creat reducing condition in the furnace. The results were to some extend satisfactory, specially, when reducing salts were employed. The observed brown, green and golden reflections were, due to the presence of copper, silver and copper silver salts in the formula. The resume of the study in the project can leads us to relatively high temperture luster suitabe for lustering tiles.
