[English]

A key consideration in contemporary urban planning is the essential focus on the aesthetic dimensions of urban landscapes. As an integral component of a city's identity, the urban landscape plays a pivotal role in shaping its inhabitants' spatial perception and aesthetic experiences. Among the key elements in urban landscape design, color holds particular significance due to its profound influence on the quality of life and the sense of place. This study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology to investigate the role of the urban color landscape. Through an extensive review of literature and documentary sources, the research explores the conceptual foundations and practical applications of color in urban design, specifically focusing on urban color landscapes. By formulating criteria for urban color landscapes and analyzing global case studies, the study seeks to evaluate the significance of color in urban environments critically. Utilizing Kaplan's four criteria, coherence, complexity, legibility, and mystery, the research proposes strategic frameworks and policy recommendations for urban color landscape design. In conclusion, the study highlights that a thoughtfully designed urban color landscape enhances the aesthetic appeal of cities and fosters improved environmental quality, vitality, and spatial dynamism.
